We sell whole and half hogs. We secure the processor and dates. We work with two amazing processors. One is Simla food locker The other Ted baker meats These two processors do amazing work and strive to cut the way you want it.
We ask for a $50 deposit. Once the deposit is made you will get an email for the balance that will be dated for the day before the hog is delivered to the processor.It must be paid on or before that date. Pork is a commodity therefore the price can fluctuate. Once you make the deposit you will be locked in to that price.
Here's how it works:
You make the deposit.
That will secure your processing date and price. Our pigs weigh at least 250 Lbs.
Hanging weight is typically70% of the live weight.
250 x 70% = 175 lb hanging weight.
Half hog hanging weight is half the whole hog weight.
This an example of the processing fee. These fees are paid directly to the processor. They must be paid to be able to pick up your meat.The pricing is per Lb. and based off the hanging weight.
